Wer wählt, hat eine Stimme. Wer nicht wählt, wird trotzdem regiert.
Those who vote have a say. Those who don't vote will be governed anyway.

So the French far right gets a historically high vote (31%) and Macron doesn’t find anything better than to announce a dissolution of the National Assembly which in the current circumstances means new election risking to give more seats to the far right.
The French would vote for a fucking rock as long as it’s a racist colonizer.
Go screw yourself.

In France, there are people who hate welfare recipients so much that they vote for people who have only worked a few days for five years.

well this is fucked... those are the preliminary results of the european election for germany
black one is like middle, leaning more and more to the right, party. they say they're christian but they're really not, they're just conservative
and blue is the right wing party. that literally has scandal after scandal right now. They're literally being watched and investigated by the Verfassungsschutz (they make sure our basic rights stay protected)
sadly kind of expected but boy I'm not excited for the next elections in germany...

Hi, OP of the "please vote at the European elections" here. Not a stupid question at all! Rereading the post, I do understand how my phrasing may have been confusing, sorry about that! I did not mean to say that it will have a historically low turnout, but rather that the European elections have a history of having low turnout. It barely scratched past 50% turnout in 2019 and was in the 40s for the 4 previous European elections. Half the people who are allowed to vote (and more than half before 2019) did not use their right to vote. So, in a year when there are so many extremist parties that are coming in 1st in polls, it's important to not let our votes be wasted, because extremists will definitely vote.
Hi, this is a very late reply. Thank you for answering my question. I figured you either can tell the future, have a time machine or I misread what you were trying to say. So, I am curious, what do you make of the way the election turned out?

France is set for further political turmoil as the fallout from President Macron’s decision to call fresh national parliamentary elections continues. The move came as a reaction to his party taking an embarrassing beating by France’s far-right Rassemblement National Party in the weekend's European Parliament elections. The new national vote could open the door for France to have its first-ever far-right prime minister.

Aline Larribere died at 91 years old.
She was a white woman with the status of Moudjahida because she fought alongside Algerians during the war of liberation. She was arrested in 1956 in a maquis near Tlemcen. The French tortured her husband in front of her and they kept them in jail in horrible conditions until the liberation in 1962. Her parents were also involved and they were often attacked by the OAS.
The way a white woman representing the best of the French left died on the same day the French far right created by the OAS and Nazis (actual WW2 Nazis) get a historical high vote…
